We filmed another "Hot Tamale Outdoors Show" with Scott Kappas today on the lower Columbia.
And what a day for filming.
We had nine takedowns. We ended up with five clipped fish, released two unclipped fish, air balled one and lost one.
There were four other boats in my line. One missed two and caught one, one boat caught two chinook and a steelhead missed another fish and broke off one chinook with the net, another boat missed two and caught one and the last boat caught one. For a total of six landed and six missed/lost.
From what I could see all those fish that were missed were because the guys grabbed the rods too soon.
Every single fish was on a Kwikfish.
This show may air as early as next Monday night. I'll keep you posted, you will not want to miss it!
