You guys are an awesome looking team...

GRB...I would love to do any fishing trip with you & fishbait...I am a jack of many trades but not a specialist in any of them by no means...

However...as Fishbait can vouch I do fall under the blind squirrel acorn theory from time to time...

That is an awesome picture of a bunch of happy nerds by the way graemlins/applause.gif

I get to hear all of Gary's stories and adventures with you guys. My dad is constantly saying Gary did this, Gary did that. Then he looks at me and says what's wrong with you boy? Well my complaint with you boys is that you constantly make me look bad, which is not to hard to do mind you.

Congradulations to you guys and keep it up. Those are nice respectible fishies and so bright it is distracting me at work today. You have my deepest respect.

The more fish I catch, the less I seem to post the pics. But then again I don't deny that I do like to look at others pics and post some as well, however I find myself posting more pics of others with fish than pics of myself with fish as time passes. Them are some nice shiny ones by the way.

Well I have fished quite a bit this year with Fishbait and especially with his buddy Jeff. Of the "Be Like Jeff Fan Club" fame. And also Gary Miller who I met last year on the ifish Goose Hunt.

These are great fishermen, who are genuinely good guys and an awefull lot of fun to be around.

Recently a guide friend said "I just didn't think he looked like a fisherman, he looks like a Nerd" hence Team Nerds.

They are pretty modest (except for Fishbait) and very, VERY sneeky. They are apt to have a loaded fish box while looking you in the eye and tellin you how tough the fishin is. Or fighting fish and having them landed while you never see it happen.

They don't post pics or talk themselves up, but, as the salmon season of '03 winds down, I was given the green light to show this one. It was taken recently. We (I use the term "we" loosely)were done by 11:00 and releasing and high grading. All on eggs.

The best fishermen I know in Oregon don't talk it up, never post pics, and avoid crowds while whackin and stackin. Also some of the best, don't look like a threat and are very quiet and sneeky.

Thanks Jeff, Gary, Steve (pictured). Also Brad, Mark, David, Grant, James others who I have enjoyed sharing the water with.

I really enjoy this board at times. I have gotten help and hopefully helped some others. There have been times this year when I've gotten pretty sick of it too. I've met some great folks that have become good friends, but remember, the ones doin all the talkin (or posting) aren't necessarily the ones doin all the catchin.

Bruce,
Great fun fishing with you this year. You held your own most of the time... Thursday was a little tougher but we still caught lots, or at least some of us did. Looking forward to the back bounce bite as TW will be winding down with the rain. Another season of spending some great time on the river with some very good friends.
