Hello to all at Ifish! I've appreciated your conversations before, and now I'd like to jump in, too. I'm hoping to learn something about NW fishing from you all: my dad, a fanatic fisherman (he liked the Skokomish and the Cowlitz best) has passed away, and my fishing friend moved to the South. Help! I'll be out this Friday and Saturday, and next weekend. I was thinking of trying the Kalama and/or Wilson. I've seen your dialogues on these rivers recently, but any tips on specific places to go or not to go on these rivers, or any concrete tips on the best gear to use? I'm just going to drive out and see what there is to see...

Hey A.L. I dont know if I can offer you any advise on either one of those rivers..I dont have any real experience with them. But if you like, I can give some tips that have worked for me, being sorta new to salmon/steelehead fishing myself, I have found some methods that work for the not too experianced guy. E mail me if you would like them(bad66cat@aol.com)
