Has anyone or does anyone use MATZUO Octopus Sickle Hooks? I just bought some. They seem extremely sharp and possibly stronger due to the bends. If anyone has used'em let me know about the performance.

Interesting. What's the offset like? Have you used them?
Where'd you find 'em?

The off set seems to be a little less than Gammies. I have not used them yet, and I got them from Cabelas. They seem to be a pretty sturdy hook. And around the same price as Gammies. I'm hoping to give'em a shot this weekend in Tide water Bobber Fishing.

Fishfinder1...If we're going we will probably be heading to the Trask Tide water. The weather will determin where we go.
Thanks

CM, I think we are going back down too. Probably back to Dourherty or, maybe to the Wilson. How much rain do you think it will take to change things down there?

I posted almost the same question about a year ago. I tied them up and fished with them once last year, tons of bites but couldn't stick one. I figured it was the "new" hooks so I quit fishing them. The first trip this year I used last years left over tackle. I hooked two fish on the Matzuo's. Good hooks but IMO they need a little more offset.

stlhdr1,
What application did you use them in?
