McNary boat launch location

I will be traveling to the Hermiston area this weekend and thought I would try my hand at the steely night fishing. My question is, where do you launch on the Oregon side. Looking for a boat launch name, location etc.

The way I get to the "damn" ramp :grin: is to take Hwy 395 north off I84. Traveling along that roadway you pass through Hermiston [High Desert Marine on the left side of the highway is a good pit stop for spending more money on tackle] and continue on to Umatilla. Hwy 395 then comes into a "T" junction with traffic lights. Instead of turning left or right continue on straight through the intersection into the McNary Dam complex. There will be signs guiding you the short distance in to the boat ramp which is just above the dam. Nice set up, lots of parking space, well lighted at night, and three ramps.

Look for a stealth sled out on the water - red LED afterglow and a boom box up front providing great sounds. You're in for a treat, you've just spotted Fear No Fish. :bowdown: :bowdown:
Take careful note of the Master, if anyone is going to bring carnage to a boat that night, it'll be Steve.
