I fished Tuesday and Wednsday on the north coast and had some good results.
Tuesday we fished the Trask and hooked six but only landed two, both about eight pounds each. One of the fish we lost was real good size but we never saw it before it broke off.
Wednesday we fished the Wilson and caught three from five to eight pounds. There were several other boats on the waster and each had two to three fish.
All our fish were hooked on drift gear but one we caught on a wiggle wart.
The fish moved through the systems pretty fast on this rain but there should still ber a few around for the weekend. It would be nice to have some steady rain to keep the rivers up in level but I don't think it's going to happen.
