I fished all morning out in the Willamette in Oregon City and only saw one fish caught and heard of two other caught and two lost up until noon. We never had a sniff.

At 12 0'clock we ran up the Clack and fished Three and a half hours from the Safeway launch to Carver. On our last pass we finally hooked up and landed a beautiful seven pound hatchery hen. Of course we then had to make a couple more passes.

By five o'clock the fish checker had checked 27 boats and only 3 springers at Clackamatte Park.

The Willamtte was 46 degrees and the Clack was 41. 41 is a real good winter steelhead temperature, that may be why they are starting to have stuff in their stomach. That summer fish yesterday had the bug larve adn plactic peices and the winter fish we had today had part of some persons flo. pink prawn in its stomach.

It looks like I'll be back on the Clack on Monday.
