I knew that sooner or later my streak would run out, I just hope it wont for long. We did hook on fish, it looked to be a small but bright fish before it threw the hook. If I were into excusses I would blame the lost fish to too much line on the water therefore a lame hook set. You must not have a lot of slack when you're fishing bobbers.
What a nice day though. I was stripped down to no shirt, we saw a mink and had a bald eagle fly over just 40 feet above our heads and land in a tree.
There were a few more boats out today but didn't here of much happening in any boat.
I'll have the next two days off and then back at it on Friday.
