Every day on the water I try and work a patern of fishing the same spots that I usually catch fish in for the given water conditions of the day.
But, every day I also try a couple new or different spots or I'll fish one of my old spots from a different angle or with a different technique.
Doing this allows me the highest opportunity in that I am fishing spots that I have "a higher level of anticipation" as well as constantly learning the river better and also picking up a few "Bonus" fish.
