I started off the month on a good foot.
Today I fished with Scott Kappas of the Hot Tamale Outdoor Sho and Tim Rowe. We had a blast as usual and put four fresh, hatchery steeleis in the boat.
As I've talked about before, we caught fish after the sun hit the water. Our first one we finally got (good thing, I was stressing) at 11:30. The other three came quickly between 1 o'clock and 2. Two fish in one spot and one in another.
Hopefully the rest of the month will stay the same. It will if we don't get the rain and the water stays low on the Clackamas. One other thing, we have been getting mostly bucks, only about one hen per trip. This tells me that there should still be a bunch of hens to come since bucks seem to usually come up first.
