My December totals shaped up as fallows:
10 trips
21 steelhead and 2 chinook
for an average of 2.3 fish landed per trip.
We also had about 11 other hookups that didn't get landed.
My best day we caught seven, only got skunked twice.
Of that we caught five on plugs, six on jigs and the rest on drift gear.
The break down on our drift gear was as fallows:
Three on rags w/ eggs
Five on corkies w/ shrimp
One on a cheater and yarn
Three on corkies and/or cheaters w/ eggs
The colors we used were your basic reds, chartruse, and pinks as well as matalic colors for the plugs. I just match the color to the water conditions.
Hopefully with less holaday presure and some rain on the way we will be getting into
some great days.
