Well, the bright side to my four hour drive from Tillamook to my home in Clackamas (it took 1 1/2 hours to get from 185th exit to the 217 exit) is with fishing two rods today we landed seven out of eight fish. All chrome bright winter steelhead, one with sea lice. A combination of drifting and plugs did the trick.
I have only been out two days this week and we have landed 11 beautiful steeleis. With this low water and this many fish I can't stand to think of how many fish we are going to have around after this rain we are expecting! I think we are going to have a season even better than last year!
