It looked like the skipper and his deckhand were on a busman's holiday yesterday. My brother-in-law and I spent the day between Riverbend and the oyster farm trying to teach headless herring how to swim without any luck (managed to hook a coho but broke him off at the boat on the outdrive). We noticed this commercial boat moving slowly up and down the river and when he got close we saw a couple of rods hanging off the back and a sea anchor the size of a parachute!
We only saw 2 fish caught for the day's work, but it was an absolutely beautful day on the river.
