Are there still lots of coho to be caught on the Sandy? I've had success fishing the Dodge park area the past couple of Saturdays, but I figure its got to be over sometime soon. I was thinking of heading up there this Saturday. Anybody catch any bright fish this week? What is the water color like?

I think you stand a good chance at getting into fish where you've been fishing. The run isn't over just yet. The Sandy will usually fish alright through the legal season. You may have to let some of the darker fish go. Beware, chrome bright hens having been coming up with pale flesh. I got mine almost a month ago and she was only a little lighter than the buck. However, I heard from someone that it's gotten more drastic of late.

I took i nice bright to bronz hen last sunday off the sandy - smelt white meat... great eggs though..

Thanks for info. :cheers: I'd greatly appreciate an update on the water color. Although, unless its really bad, I'll probably still fish.
