How has fishing been in the Reach? And when is the run over in that area?

I was there last weekend. We were there at sunrise and it seemed that there was at least some kind of bite, but it didn't last long. We caught 1 Jack and had a couple of takedowns, that was it for the 6 hours we were there. Marine bioligist also said it has been slow.

Fished it last weekend and got 1 Jack. Saw three caught and about 300 boats. Fished it again yesterday and lost one good fish. Fish checker had checked 1 fish in by 1:30pm. There were far less boats. I know of one guy who did well this past weekend down towards Ringold. I believe this fishery goes until Oct. 15th.

We fished the Reach on 10/7 and caught one. Fished between Ringgold and the Powerline hole. We caught the one fish in the Powerline hole. We saw maybe half a dozen fish caught all day.

Fishrunner,
I was on the Clearwater a week ago Wednesday. Flyfished mostly but we did pull some plugs and hooked 3 and landed 1. Water was low and clear. The one we landed was a nice 14lb fish and the ones we lost were also larger B-run fish. I'll be down there Saturday this weekend. Bobber/baitfisherman were doing good at the Railroad bridge by the Confluence.
