Yeee-Haw!! Wish I was down at the coast this week to watch that first storm
hit! I absolutly LOVE to watch those big waves wash over the top of Cape
Kiawanda at Pacific City and spray water over the highway at Depoe Bay as
the wave break against the sea-wall/go up thru the
"spouting horns" in the
rocks!

All I can say is that I sure am glad that I tied my boat down good at Dopey
Bay this past weekend! The surge in the port is going to be something
awsome to see! It's also really nice that we have such a good Harbor Master
that will go around and check on all the boats to make sure that they are
still lashed down tight! Here's to Gary Walls, Depoe Bay Harbor Master!!!

How bad does it get in Tillamook bay when the ocean gets this bad?

Went to barview yesterday. The ocean was really building. At 4:30 this morning we drove up the coast to Sunset Beach to dig in the minus tide. the ocean had gotten so big and pounded the beach so hard, not a clam was showing. :depressed: Home by 9:00 and pulled some Sturgeon out of the freezer. graemlins/applause.gif
