I have the 15ft Sea Hunter and have no complaints. (Actyually I love this boat!) For a 15ft boat this thing has a lot of room and is very sea worthy.
There is a small cuddy big enough for storing gear, and all the rest of the boat is for fishing. The larger Arima's have "Ranger" and "Chaser" models, where the Ranger has a sleeper cuddy and the chaser provides more deck space by only having a storage cuddy.
I would advise looking through info available on the Arima Boat Owners Group @ http://groups.msn.com/ArimaBoatOwnersGroup/mainpage.msnw
If the Sea Hunter is the class boat you are thinking about then maybe we can hookup for a Columbia fishing trip some time and you can get a feel for what a Sea Hunter provides.

I have the 17' Arima ranger and had the exact same experience with the window struts. I asked the factory for a replacement and to bill me. They sent 2 and told me no charge. The struts were 13 yrs old and had developed a crack. First class treatment always from Arima. I've talked to the factory tech a few times on the phone and they do their utmost to help with problems and technical advice.

I recently sold my Arima SeaHunter 15 and have nothing but good things to say about the factory. My boat was an '84, so I fixed and upgraded many parts on it. Dealing with the factory was always great. The prices were very good and the service was fantastic. Parts always arrived on my door fast. I sold it to get more room, and if I could have found a newer 17 or 19 foot SeaChaser for what I wanted to spend, I'd still own an Arima. You just can't go wrong with one, as long as the boat is sound of course. My $.02

Talk about standing behind a product, I am the second owner of a 15 year old Arima. When I bought the boat one of the feet for the windshield braces was broken, but I was able to do an ok superglue fix. Then this last weekend I managed (not sure how) to break the other windshield brace.
After shopping around for replacement parts, my wife decides to compare prices with ordering directly from Arima. Arima tells us they will ship us both windshield braces for FREE! The are not even charging us for shipping!
Maybe this kind of thing is normal, but it seems pretty cool to me. Can you imagin calling up Ford about something you broke on a second had pickup, and then Ford just giving you the parts for free!?

Nice! Good to hear that some folks still care about customer service and stand behind their products.
