Is there a web site or program that can correct tides by plugging in a buoy number or longitude and latitude? I have looked at several of the links here but I don't think they are able to do this, however, I might be missing something.
Thanks

There isn't any tide schedule that I know of that will do what you want to do. The Tide.Com site is probably the closest you can get to what you want and it will only give you tides for today and tomorrow, but if you know the corection time you can project the chart out for at least five days and be close enough for fishing. Basicly you are only concerned about high and low tide and the ebb tide time. And this is varies enough that you can be off thirty minutes and still be all right. At least that is the way I see the problem.

A marine GPS with Navionics charts will provide tide information for specified locations. An icon appears on the screen with either a "T" or a "C". The T will show tides, the C will show tidal currents. I'm not sure how the locations are selected, but it seems just a small bit of code away from being able to calculate either for any given location based on moon phase and a correction factor.
