I took my aluminum drift boat down to Koffler for a Zolatone paint job a while back (looks great) and they offered a treatment for the outside of the boat. It was some kind of chemical that they put on and then washed off.
It definitely changed the look of aluminum. They said it would change my semi shiny but well pitted aluminum to a solid flat, pourous, bright looking aluminum. It was'nt that expensive. Has anybody done this or seen it done? Is it harder to keep clean? Opinions
