Coquille River Action

With the Coos river slowing the last couple days we jumped on the Coquille this AM.
Lots of fog in the early AM, but the bite was very steady!

We ened up hooking 7 fish landing these 5. All very fresh fish, all had sea lice, and were very active!

This was Adam's fisrt, and second Salmon ever today.. nice first day!

We had a steady bite from about 8-11 AM seeing many ther fish caught! BUT tons of boats.. more boats than I have even seen on the Coquille..

Umpqua and Coos are slow and the word is out!

You up river of sternaven? (how ewver you spell it) or down?

We put in at Riverton and ran down and to fish Bear Creek to Rocky Point.. caught 3 of 5 at Bear creek on the incoing, the other two above Harry's house.. (it's the only house on the river :smile: )

high slack has produced good numbers of fish both Mon and Tues
but the early AM bite has been HOT on the Coos
fish the early AM on the Coos and the trailer down and fish the incoming at Rocky Point! That's the ticket for the next couple days!
