Hammond/Ocean? Today

Just once more for the heck of it! We would love to try Hammond or the Ocean on Tuesday/Wednesday, but would appreciate a recent report before we take the long and "gaspensive" drive to the coast.

Has anyone been there yesterday or today? Thanks for your report in advance.

Rusty,was down there saturday and sunday,saturday we got two limits of silvers and seemed like everbody was catching fish.sunday we managed one fish in about one hour then were blown off by rough water.fished in front of hammond for the most part and was pleased with the results.i was just wondering how long the fishing will stay productive hopefully a few more weeks.

Hey BCFISHON, sorry we didnt connect out there on Saturday. We also got two limits of silvers on Sat. Bite seemed to be fairly steady thru the incoming. What a beautiful day it was! Be down again this weekend, but most likely just for crab.

p.s. Rusty, saw lots of fish caught between Hammond and the Sawdust pile. Didnt really matter a whole lot weather it was 50ft of water or 25ft of water. Caught most of our fish that day at between 10 and 15 pulls. 4 fish at 10 pulls and 2 at 15. Most of what I saw caught where hatchery, very few native. Saw several nooks caught too. I think its still worth the trip if the weather cooperates.
