Frenchies has had some mixed reports lately, the spot I have been fishing near St. Helens has been producing very well, how well you say... see my reports and Get Bent's.
Lets remember we are talking about fishing here so things can change day to day, the nice thing about Frenchman's is most people know where it is and it is close.
So... those of you fishing in the Salmon Line of Death on Thursday do you want to launch at Scappoose Bay or Lewis River and run to one of my spots, about 15 minute run or do you want to fish Frenchmans or do you just want to go it alone and I should not worry about it?

OK this is looking like a real three horse race... maybe we just should do all three because the "dont worry just do your own thing" people are going to do that anyway. We should run one line at Frenchies and the other can meet me at Scappoose Bay Marina for a 6:30 AM launch
Sound good?

I don't care where we fish. If I had to choose I would say ST. Helens, plenty of room to spread out. When are you going to make the decision? I have one guy comeing up from Eugene. I want to make sure I have time to give him directions.

I'm making plans to have thursday off and will be looking for everyone out there. I voted for frenchies, but will be just as happy to try
st. helens. I think it would be real cool to all be in one or two hog lines. I'm going out tomarrow at chinook landing.

I just got back from Bend and would like to know where I am going in the morning. I know St. Helens better, but hate the wind and chop.
You call it and I will be there.

I haven't heard either. Tide is earlier, so I will be at St helens at 6am unless I hear otherwise. We will be on channel 68 I think. graemlins/idea.gif

I will be launching at St. Helens at 6:30 AM for anyone that wants to follow me out... I am fishing up river a little so the tide is a little later. Black and gold Alumaweld, and you should all know what my ugly mug looks like by now!
Keep it on channel 68 on the VHF. If you come out late head upriver and hail us!
