Hot Day At Mouth Of Lewis

My son Tom (Grasshopper) reports that the bite was good at the mouth of the Lewis yesterday. Scott boated 5 on his long flyrod, and every other boat had fish. Except Tom, who was the SLOW boat of the tide.

That'll teach the young whippersnapper. :grin:

The few times i have fished it, i have enjoyed watching the epic battes of "flyrod" almost more than the fish we managed to get! That looks like fun, he sure has it down. Is it best at low tide or does it even matter?

Were ya using mostly flies, or lures, or? what was the main lure of choice?
