Labor Day 2003
OK so, check it out, we roll out around 6:30 am, way better than that 2am alarm buzzer. Today we decided on local waters so, we headed out to this super secret spot, turns out that 2526 people had the same idea, we took some what of a newbie with us for good luck and it pays off big, Dennis sets the pace and sets the hook on the first pound down of the day "1 in the box" 15 min later, Chris......Fit ton !! "2 in the box"
Now it's dead so we tell Chris to get up on deck and see if he can see anything going on down river......he responds "Oooh, Oooh, Yeee, Yeee" he was going a little bananas so we moved.

Let's try this spot at 45 feet of H2O......cool! 30 mins later my rod just explodes, tip in water and peeling line out like mad, I fought garganchula for about 10 min and in the net she goes...32 pounds of URB........Saaahhhhwweeeet!

OK, rods back in the water....Zaq!!!!! your rod, this one is just pounding and pounding.....another screamer Cool, Cool !! "4 in the box" Den Chris...Fish on! Den Dennis....Fish on! Den Me.....Fish on! At this point we set our take out time 3:45, 7 fish in the box and 1 to go, Tick....Tock....Tick.....Tock, It's now 3:43.......Zaq! Zaq! Get it! 8th one on the line.....come on! come on! Yeah in the net! Boats limited out, Kings for all.

Wait........It's not over yet, Chris opens the ca, coola and starts acting weird again "Oooh, Oooh, Yeee, Yeee" this carrot crazy nut starts bobbing for eggs in the coola......Oh, it was scary! Maybe I'll try it next time.

We found all these Kings in 45 feet of water and stayed with the 5 foot leader, 5 foot dropper,it seems like all colors were working (Alvin's, wobblers, Clancy's) don't leave out the Carrot milk.
We seen Fish-on (Dustin) out there and he had fish, it looks like he was fishing deeper. Carrot brother 5-cents was fishing higher up river and he got fish too so, those Kings are in the system now.
