These things are like magic!! I dont think i will ever leave home without them in my tackle box. How many people are true belivers? What makes them so deadly?

I hooked a lot of fish with them this year, but I had touble making them stick. I'm going to change out the hooks and try them again.

I only tried them once for about 30 mins.. It was a green and white spoon and all I managed was a drive by.

Went back to herring and BAM fish on. I wish I could have the same luck as everyone else but am to impatient to try to find out what works.

I had the same experience as the previous post while using Coyote spoons.

I put one on out at the CR Buoy last week and instantly, "fish on". Well, I thought, this is cool. You guessed it. Not one other strike for the entire week!

I know they work, but why so selectively?

They work great in the blue, but are pretty worthless in the river.

Coyote Spoons work awesome in the river, you just dont believe. I have caught many near Longview with them. Green/silver, Blue/silver. They work great for salmon.

 they are as good as you can get. They seemed to work magic out of Newport and Depoe Bay but I was not as lucky with them around the Columbia. I changed quickly when my fishing partners outscored me 3 to 0 at the CR buoy. Once I went back to herring, the score balanced quickly. What was I doing differently? Nothing. The next time the Coyote spoons won out. It was just a different day and different things worked. That's fishing. It all balances out in the long run. I would not leave home without them. I believe they are going to produce for years to come so I for one will always carry them.
