I fished Wickiup Friday morning from 5:30 to 9:30. Seven fish were caught that ranged in size between 14 and 20 inches. A pink/glow Apex with anise scented corn did the trick. They were caught out in front of the Gull Point boat ramp, which is out of the water. The only ramp still in the water is the one at the Gull Point campground. The water is very low so if you want to learn where the channels run now is a good time to have a look see.

Thanks for the report. Is there much pressure?

FRG,
Those are some nice Kokes. What is the water temp there right now? I am guessing the low to mid 70's.

Tagster, there is very little fishing pressure at this time. The place looks odd with so little water.

Tanner, The water temp was low 70s about two weeks ago, but with some cool nights and days has dropped back down to mid 60s.

Great Kokes, Brian. Run a broomstick through their gills and hold them up, it would look like a Buoy 10 picture. Well, almost. Good job.

Brian, I'm dyin!!!! Those kokes are hogs  . I wanna come out there and catch some with you. looks like it will be too late in the season before I make it out there. We'll have to settle for the fall river on late sept or oct. Sound good!
Take care,
brad
