Does anyone know wher to rent a boat suitable for fishing on the cr? I would like to rent one and take a buddy of mine out and see if we can catch some fish. any info would be welcome.

I've never heard of anyone 'renting' boats for personal use on the Columbia. The only way I know of a CR boat ride is with a fellow Ifish'er, guide, or charter.
Good luck, and post the source if you find one, as I'm sure there are others that would like to do this also.
Now that I think about it, I saw a moorage (boat club?)on the Mult. Channel that had a fleet of generic boats for use. No trailers though. It might be worth researching in the phone book or online.
