The upper Tillamook Bay at Mamaloose Boat Launch area near the mouths of the Wilson and Trask Rivers, using RED and WHITE Willow Leaf spinners were a huge success. Also the green and white and green and red tip spinners. I sold ALL of my spinners in record time this weekend with back orders!
More of these spinners are coming in on thursday this week, but I want to be sure I save some for "Crabby" on ifish. I hope she gets this message!
It was a great weekend. Hope this coming weekend is even better with the little bit of rain we're getting.
Fishing report:
Chinook fishing continues to be good out of Tillamook Bay. Most fish are being caught in the ocean and lower bay. Effort has picked up.
Crabbing continues to be good as well. I heard some 7 inchers were being taken and their shells are hard.
Nehalem has been good some days lately.
