If you happen to know where some privite property is where a nice deep hole is that very BIG sturgeon are,,,YOU were the lucky one to come home with huge sturgeon today!
I know of one customer that fits this profile. I promised I wouldn't give out names. But he was using sand shrimp and Marie's Sturgeon Scent" What a way to go!Biggest one was 7 1/2 feet BIG!
If you were on the bay,[Tillamook Bay] not so good.
If you were fishing for Silvers you had to fish very deep waters. 160 feet. Deep.!!
One customer caught his limit tho. Not big fish. Maybe 5 pounds. No picture today, but maybe tomorrow.[sunday]
The Columbia produced a ton of shaker sturgeon and barley keepers. Will try again tomorrow. Using mud and sand shrimp.
