Well its the last day to try your shot at coastal springers! Its been a hit and miss kinda season. Not much happened. I personally never saw a springer come in. I did hear lots of guys get one at Lorens Drift. I hear its been packed, elbo to elbo up there. COMBAT FISHING STYLE!
Time to move on to STURGEON! The Martin family came in the other day to try thier hand at it. And went out to Tillamook Bay and came home with a NICE 46 inch keeper. The youngest age 9 Kathryn hooked into it! She was using mud shrimp sprinkled with "MARIE"S STURGEON SCENT". They said it made ALL the difference in catching fish.
They tried it without,,,nothing.
Tried it with the scent,,,BAM, FISH ON!
Tried ith without again,,,nothing.
They said the "SCENT" made the difference.
They've convinced me!
