The fish are lathargic.The water is 42 degrees in the bay. Not many bites.
When its this cold things just seems to stop.
Today was no exception. Motors won't start, engines run cold. Wind shields on boats don't defrost and when your hands get wet, watch out...burrrrr.
Fish seem to know when its cold too.
And its going to continue thru the weekend.
Maybe it will be good to bring a heater.
Don't forget to check your ani-freeze tonight.
And remember to take your garden hose and disconnect it tonight, to be safe.
Nothing worse than having your water freeze inside your hose spigget. We forgot last winter and the bill was 150.00 to unthaw the hose bibs. (2) of them.
The weather will be clear and cold this weekkend. Dennis is planning on having fresh sand shrimp for those brave soles who will go no matter what.
