HEADED OVER TO BILLY CHINOOK AND SIMTUSTUS FOR A FEW DAYS. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND THE CURRENT HOT FISHING SPOT AT BILLY CHINOOK. MAINLY INTERESTED IN THE KOKANEE FISHERIE.

I had a friend go to Billy Chinook this week. They caught 7 kokes. They were 40 pulls behind the boat behind Ford Fenders. I don't know the spots though. This was the first time they went to Billy Chinook for kokanee, so they were learning.

Fish the Crooked River arm early or the Metolious anytime. Go to where the debris lines up and jig with Gibbs Minnows. Sometimes green and silver Gibbs but mostly pink pearl. They sell them at the marina. White corn on the hooks may help. I just smoked a pile of Kokanee from Cove. :dance: Kokanee candy bars! :cheers:
