Half a Rod

I lost the bottom half of a North River rod (along with a brand new 5501c) going over Granite Falls in Hells Canyon on the Snake River :shocked: . If anyone has broken the tip section on one of these rods and would like to part with the bottom section, lets work something out. If you are partial to your rod and would like my tip section, we can work something out with the proceeds going to IFish (half a rod doesn't do me a whole lot of good). I believe the rod is rated as an XH 15-50.

Dan, got your message, please hang onto that tip for me. This was a nice surprise--maybe someone has a top section for an 8' medium action Luhr Jensen spinning rod? A Kalama springer tore mine up jig fishing. Give me a holler and we'll flip for it--heads I get the tip or tails you get the butt, anyone? Billy

I feel your pain, but I have to ask you to tell the story of how you lost it. Did you flip your raft? Near miss? I have been in the Green Room a couple of times and have to say that it is a great float when every thing goes right, but it can get bad in a hurry on that particular hole. I have watched a lot of raft flip there.

Funny thing I broke a Loomis pole in Granite Falls Last year,
Took it to Loomis and they repaied it for free.
