Does anyone know of a good way to get good numbers for the fish caught in Nehalem bay. I am in Corvallis and would like to make the run out to the coast next weekend but I want to see what my chances are. I have checked nehalemfishchecker.com but that informaion is out of date if it even works. Any suggestions?

Is the Nehalem Fish Checker site going to get updated? Was that part of the budget cuts?

After speaking with the fishchecker lady last weekend, I wouldn't hold your breath to be seeing that site up again anytime soon. It sounded like she needed to do some upgrades and pay for her site and neither she or the ODFW had the money to pay for it. So, unless someone wants to cut her a nice check, I don't think it will be back up.
