Be in the right spot at the right time when the fish are there!
Today a guy from Nehalem came in with a 30 pound HEN!
Caught on my chinook eggs. He showed me the jar. The jar with my name on it. Proof, thats all I ask. Well he did. And what a nice looking hen she was.
There was a 1/4 inch hole punch in her gill.
Was it an original hole punch for a tag? Or what? It was a clean hole punch. Got any suggustions? Why was that hole there?
Well, I had a pretty good day today. Lots of customers asking for my NEW shrimp scent.
I hear it works. Have you got yours?
Well, where to go now. I bet the fish are all up high. But a few will be in their deep hiding holes in tide water.
I've been getting alot of calls from the Siletz River area and the Salmon River. Sounds like a batch of nooks are coming up from the Newport area. That means by this weekend they will be in T-Bay. Got your Herring yet? Call me. Reserve yours before they are all gone, until next year.
