A co-worker of mine went fishing on the Nehalem on Saturday. Below is a picture of her 30 pound chrome bright fish. About 2 minutes after landing this, right after the poles went back in the water, another co-worker hooked and landed a 22 pounder on the same boat, but I don't have that picture. Caught at the Wood Pile Hole on the Nehalem on Saturday morning, July 26th.

Way to go Susan! Good job showing Tom how to catch fish!  graemlins/applause.gif

Thanks STGRule for cropping the picture for me!

Beautiful Fish! graemlins/applause.gif Dare we ask what it was caught on? Sure would like to know what to take over there. I've never fished Nehalem before but plan on it now that I've got a boat. Thanks for posting the photo, SKP.

Supposedly, there is some pile of driftwood on the jetties, so they were near there in the jaws. Trolled herring was the answer for Susan.

Fishing was not hot by any means. They got two in the boat, but only saw a handful more caught all weekend.
