Mussels??

I am wondering if I am missing the boat (pardon the pun) by not grabbing some mussels off the rocks @ Depoe each time I rockfish there. At low tide there is about a bazillion of them exposed on the rocks. But I have never cooked mussels and didnt know if they were worth the effort.......?? Thanks for any info :smile:

Go for the smaller ones. These, from the clean waters of the pacific, have a great mild flavor. I think you do have to watch for the Red Tide, demoic acid warnings and closures.
