S. Santiam or Mckenzie for Steelies?

Hi Fellas, Any info on these two streams would be helpfull. Going to one or the other tommorow. Fished the N.Santiam at Fishermans bend today and got tanned. Saw 2 Steelies in the tounge above the big whitewater and a number of soreheads. No takers. Drifted corkies and tried rolling steelies with siwash hook. Bait may of produced. Maybe next time. Chris

My buddy hit the south sat, and sun. He got one sat and two on sun. Fishing was slow though he said he only saw a handful of fish caught and one springer hooked. He was fishing up at church camp below wiley creek.
