Ochoco Lake???

Hi folks,
Has anyone been to Ochoco lake lately? We were thinking about camping there next weekend. Is the bank fishing any good?

You're talkin' about my favorite lake. I was there 1 month ago. Fish were big this year. 12 to 17 inches and fat. Trolling worm rigs ofr flatfish. Unfortunately, the lake has probably warmed up and had a algae bloom. Makes the fish taste muddy. I always try for the weekend after Memorial day. I know bankies do well. There is a good spot off the hiway, east of the restaurant next to the rock wall. Crappie are excellent, too. Good luck.
