anyone know if there are sturgeon bein caught at oregon city, a buddy of mine told me he hooked 3 big fish using shad.. but would like to confirm this...any ideas

Shad fishing the other weakend we saw a blue/gray and a brown/brown boats fishing both were doing very well on the shaker end. Didn't see anything with much size to it. We were at the end of the island on the willamette below the clack on the park side. They were having lots of fun not much wait time between fish.
