Crabbing ?

I will be heading down to Ilwaco this week end for a family get together, I was thinking about taking the boat and try a little crabbing off of sand island.
Anyone out there know if it is any good this time of the year in that area ?

Isn't sand Island a little high up. Why not around 20. Just watch out for the softies and let them go to fill up.

fishboy (hehe) - Sand Island (one of a hundred) is right across the river from 20. WA side (but it is Oregon water). :smile:

Crabbing has been excellent in Netarts and Tillamook bays so should also up in the river on both sides and through a high slack.
