South Santiam Report!!!

Fished most of the day up on the south santiam with my dad. Of course he hooks and lands the first fish, a nice 8lb steelie. Then we start to hook a bunch of springers and managed one about 25lbs. We left with a limit of steelhead and the one chinook. Thanks dad for sharing the day with me. Happy fathers day all!!!!

Woooohooo! Glad they finally dropped the water level! Good to see some fish caught...Fished the dead line myself for about an hour day before yesterday...nada...Didn't get to throw everything at them though...next week...!

Thanks for the report, sounds like i will be aborting my plans to fish the north, i think i will spend my next 3 days on the south. The north is very slow, lots of black boots, not many steelys, just slow.
