Summer run vs. Spring run

Do springers and summer fish run about the same depth. I managed to hook a few springs this year and was wondering if I should fish the same water for summer run as the springers? What do you guys think? Do they run the same channels as the springers, or will I need to fish deeper since the water will be warmer?

Have caught most of my summer Chinook in 45-50 feet of water in Aug-Sept
