28-30 LB shadnook

My son,I and Jokester went out for some shad fishing today.Left about noon ended up catching about 30 shad in just a couple of hours.then just as we were getting ready to leave my pole goes off.Holy cow this is a big one after about five minutes of fighting the fish we get a look.Can you say big chinook.he must have got a good look too because off he goes striping line.Now were scrambling quick get the anchor reel in the poles.After about 20 minutes of battleing this fish it's finaly at the boat 28-30 lber even clipped on 6lb line.Shure hated to turn that one loose.But is shure was fun. :dance: :cheers:

I saw it...i'm a witness!! HOLY COW WAS THAT A BEATIFUL FISH!!!!! :shocked: :shocked: Came in pretty easy until it saw us, then it was off to the races! Nice job landing that hog Paul! Thanks again for the fun!
