Sturgeon Bite is ON !

Fished Desdamona Sands Yesterday. Tremenous Bite.
Lots of action. Got our keepers early and just caught and released (like on Bass Shows).
Used smelt and sand Shrimp. 15Ft of water on Ebb Tide.
Ready...Set...Go Fishing...

mrfish48: I grew up in the area and went to school in Warrenton. My mom still lives in the area, so I make it up there fairly often (if the fishing is good). Have you been in the area long? I'll be going out with a friend that still lives in the area. Drop me a line sometime.

Thanks for the update. I was just gonna ask for some help figuring whether the outgoing tide was fishable around Astoria. I always get conflicting advise, I guess everyone has their preferences. Since this weekend is gonna be outgoing for most of the morning I appreciate the clue. Havent tried Sturgeon in a while and am taking someone who has never caught one before.
