Cool! I'm going to give away some great size 2 Ultra Point Mustad hooks in a round bend treble. These come in a box of 11. Also, thrown in, is a Mustad cap!

Want to win them?

Here are the rules:

Be the first back here with the correct, unedited answer and post it to this thread!
I am not responsible for goof ups.
If you have won in the last month, please let someone else try!You MUST send me your mailing address asap.

OK, here is the question!

I was reading, on the Mustad Site (http://www.mustad.no/) , about the history of hooks. Find that page!

Now, for the question! In a one word answer....

Where, in Norway, were the oldest known fish hooks dug up?

These hooks are believed to be 7-8,000 years old!

Ready.... Set.... Who's it going to be, out there, wearing a Mustad hat hookin' summer steelies on Ultra points?

Oh... and by the way... Someone asked, when Pete won a reel if mods and admin can't play.
OF COURSE they can play! They do a wonderful, nearly thankless job, have no idea when I'm going to do these contests, and if they win, all the more to them!

Go mods!

They were found "some caves situated at Jæren, not far from Stavanger in the south-western part of Norway. "
