Hit thw Wind this morning and it was windy. Pretty darn slow, few fish caught. Dad lost one after the only boat within 100 yards of where we hooked the fish was clueless and let the wind drift him right over Dad's line. He got hung up on the guys homemade transducer mount and broke him off. Did kinda meet the infamous Fear No Fish in passing, looked like he kinda got a late start today. Now the question? I noticed the water being about a foot and a half shallower than last Mon. when we were up there. One guy said it effects the bite. It made sense seeing as how that was what we witnessed. Is there a site or link where one can go and check, dam releases or pool depth between Bonneville and the Dalles? Or does it fluctuate to much day by day to be a reliable method of determining when would be the best time to fish up there? Thanks for any and all help!!!! SS
