Fished the South Santiam on Sat., up at the church hole. The water was a little high, but fishable. I managed to hook three and land one, about 8lb. The other two didn't want to cooperate, broke my 10lb leader with sharp head shakes and screaming runs. My partner hooked two and lost them both. There was quite a bit of boat traffic, Wiley creek was busy too. Stopped by Lebanon dam on the way home, the springers are there. Not much catching though, water needs to warm up. I'm going again on tues, going to try Waterloo for springers. Then up to church hole for more steelhead action. Will post report. :grin:
