My son, one of my girlfriends, Peggy, and I had the pleasure of going sturgeon fishing with Dennis Stewart yesterday. He gave us a first class trip and Mike caught his first keeper sturgeon!
Dennis thought we were a quiet bunch... it wasn't that we are, just that when you are bundled up and your teeth are chattering, it is hard to visit. I wasn't REALLY cold until that last little downpour that we thought would never end.
It was a great trip! Dennis is a great guide.
Thanks again! http://www.ifish.net/uploads/002109124.jpg

Fishabonus,
Dennis is great to fish with. He actually has the record with all the guides I fish with in that I've caught a fish every time with Dennis, nice ones too 25+ lbs in each case. Funny part is it's always been one fish late in the day. Not sure if Dennis plans that, nothing like getting great fish at the end of the day to make the customer appreciate it. Devious critters these guides, as tricky as the fish.
On the quiet part, I wouldn't worry about that...he's used to folks like me who never shut up <grin>.

We put in at John Day.
I think Dennis ordered up weather for the day just to see if we could handle it. Everyone likes to fish when the weather is great. But to sit out there all day thinking "This is what hypothermia feels like"... that takes a person that REALLY LOVES TO FISH.
The fish counter said he had only seen two keepers that day. Mikie's and another one. So, once again, the Force was with Dennis. May the force be with you.

Thanks Dennis for the trip. It's about time I get a keeper sturgeon. That's a nice boat he has, rides very smooth, has some nice rods that I like too.
Well, thanks again and maybe have to do this again. I had a good time. I think that we picked the worst day weather wise though.

Dennis is awesome in every way!
I love to fish with him, rain or shine!
He always tells me, you won't catch anything without wearing my Salmon Master hat.
He's always been right!

Whats that! Leave Mom home while on a Tuna run! There is something wrong with that picture! I haven't been after a Tuna in at least 8 years.
Sure.. go ahead.. I hook the kid up with all these boats (they actually float) and a job at the coast where he can talk fishing all day and that's the thanks I get?
Jen, you must be really special. He didn't offer me a hat. I really needed one too.

You are not fat and old.. it is because you had so many layers of clothes on! Notice I didn't request any pictures of Mike and his mom and the fish....
