The wife and I went down to Astoria this saturday looking for Sturgeon. We had to move a lot. We fished from 9 to 50 feet of water. we caught about a dozen shakers some as large as 41 inches. We finally found a couple of keepers way late in the day. We put a 45 and a 51 incher on the boat using shrimp. When I got back to the launch I heard a report they caught about eight keepers just below the deadline at Wanua.

Any other Ifihers willing to say how they were doing this weekend out there?

We fished the weekend out of Deep River on the Washington side. Boated 2 keepers 45 & 44, plus one oversize fish out of 8 feet of water. Probably had about 18 to 20 shakers too. Still just a little slow I think.
